Bidhan Sabha elections in West Bengal

Gopal Krishna Gokhale quoted that, “What Bengal thinks today, India thinks tomorrow.” But this quotation has got changed by time. The situation of West Bengal has minimized a lot. Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee is the chief minister from the last years. Almost 25 jute factories, Bengal Lamps, Sen Rally, Pilkinton Glass factory, Dunlop Tyres, MCC, etc are the locked factories. These factories used to be one of the best factories of not only in India, but in the Asia also. In today’s time approximately 80,00 small & large scale factories are locked out. Before 3 years, Mr. Pawan Ruiya took over the Dunlop tyres, but still the company is not going well.

When Mr. Jyoti Basu was the chief minister of West Bengal, the Shivpur Engineering University got the proposal to be one of the Indian Institute of Technology from the University Grant Commission. But, Mr. Basu said that we don’t want this kind of college in our state. During the 70s & 80s, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur used to be the best IIT in India, but now other IITs competitively better than their infrastructure. In other engineering or management colleges, education level had gone down to the lowest point. That’s the reason why the students of this generation are running to other states to build their career & secure their future. The salary in the corporate sectors is quite low in comparison to the other corporate houses of other states.

If we will take the example of Lalgarh, the CPM party accused the Maoists that they are spreading chaos in that area. But they didn’t accept that their party is the only party who is supporting the Maoists. In Lalgarh, no women is safe, not only the women but the little innocent girls was raped by the Maoists. Otherwise, Naxalwadi would have not taken birth in Bengal. Another case occurred in Nanur, when the dacoits who support CPM party burned 11 people in front of the whole village. But still those murderers are roaming openly. In 2007, Tata Motors finally went away from Singur, because they knew that during the reign of Communist Party they cannot establish their plant successfully. It’s almost next to impossible.

The Gyaneshwari train accident case also created massive chaos in the state. But our sweetest Chief Minister didn’t hassle to investigate about the accident. He said that, it’s a railway accident & the Railway Minister, Mamta Bannerjee is responsible for the investigation. Now the million dollar questions are why the Communist Party is untruthful to the common people; when the common people know that the concept of Communist Party didn’t got the weight in the States like Russia, Cuba & China, then why people are not dethroning them; will this time the decision of the common people change & Mamta will be the next chief minister of Bengal; how will the next CM manage the conked out state.

Commercialization in Indian Cricket

2nd April, 2011, the date has already written with the golden letters in the history of cricket. India won the world cup cricket for the second time, after 28 years. Throughout this time, India reached the final in 2003 world cup cricket under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly. But Australia defeated us. But this time Sri Lanka was defeated by the Dhoni’s men in blue. This time we had a good team also, experienced batsman like Sachin, Sehwag, Dhoni, Ganbhir, & Yuvraj; & bowlers like Zaheer, Munaf, Nehra, Harbhajan. The main center of attraction were the new-commers also, like Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, & Piyush Chawla. They also performed well. But the most of the credit goes to Gary Kirsten, who trained all the boys’ day & night.

All the Indians are happy with the performance of the team in world cup, but from today itself (8th April, 2011) the IPL 4 is starting. My question is that, how many people are interested in IPL 4. The world cup just got over; people are running through this feeling of bringing the world cup home & now just after 6 days of final match, IPL 4 is knocking at the doorsteps. I would like to say that now in IPL its totally commercialization is driving the whole game. Mukesh Ambani & Neeta Ambani are the owners of Mumbai Indians, Preity Zinta is of Punjab Kings XI, Shipla Shetty & Raj Kundra is of Rajasthan Royals, Shahrukh Khan is of Kolkata Knight Riders, Sahara India Parivar is of Kochi, etc. Isn’t it that, the cricketers are running after the money. In this IPL 4 Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the most costly player who is leading the Chennai Super Kings.

Now this tournament will also continue throughout 1 & half month, then again India has other series to play. If the team will be engaged to play all these matches then, when will they get rest? In the nest series, if the performance of India will be low then we will shout against the team & will say that team’s performance is bad. But the BCCI should understand that the cricketers are human beings, they should also get rest, and otherwise their performance level will go down, they will be tired. When all the Indian cricketers are playing for the provincial teams, the audiences get confused that to which they will support. Because they think that, my favoruite cricketer is Sachin, then I’ll support Mumbai Indians, if somebody’s favoruite cricketer is Yuvraj, they he will support Punjab King’s XI. Here don’t come out the nationality; it gives rise to the provinciality.

Till date, I didn’t understand the importance of the cheer girls’ during the matches. All these issues, points out the only problem, “COMMERCIALIZATION IN INDIAN CRICKET”. Now the audiences should realize that how should they perceive the IPL 4.

A Real Woman Behind Jinxed Prostitution

Prostitution is such kind of profession, which started from the very early period. It got established in the Greek king’s court, & then it spread throughout the world in leaps & bounce in order to fulfill their sexual desires. Now-a-days, it has become a part & parcel of almost everybody’s life. And now people are accepting it in a positive manner. They don’t even think that it’s harmful for the society & the upcoming generation.

Have anybody thought that what could be the reasons why a woman comes to the dark world of prostitution? There could be many reasons. Such as, poverty, unemployment, etc. Sometimes, it also happens that some women don’t enter willingly in this field. They don’t even know about the sexual desires & the wildness of the male community. There are lot of people in this society who sales & buys the girl in lieu of money, & send them to the different part of the country or the world. Then they are forced to enter to the darkest part of the world where the women are used as a commodity with different kind of risks in life.
In Lucknow, we can have prostitutes in the areas like, Heinemann Chowraha, Chinhat Chowraha, near Fun Republic, etc. In these areas men come & can get women to fulfill their needs. But men use these women only for their desires & then they throw them out of their life very easily. The women of this area are not of affluent families, don’t have much money. But they are selling themselves to earn a square meal a day. Some women among them are those who are every night beaten by their husbands & they are earning money just for their children. One of them had said, “Hum kya karein. Hamare pas karne ko kuch nahi hai. Pati raat ko daru peeke aate hai aur marte hai. Bachon ki padhai ke liye kuch toh karna hi padega. Toh yehi karte hai, warna bhukhe mar jayenge.” This shows that whatever they are doing its against their ethics & will power.

Sometimes, these women want to come out of the brothels & want a peaceful life, but this baneful life follows them at each & every point of their life & don’t give them a chance to lead a happy & prosperous life. This brings some problems like AIDS, infections, etc. & the mental problems like, stress, depression, pessimism, inferiority complex, etc. These kinds of women are sometimes unable to realize their qualities, the actual & real women inside them & are forced to live a life of prostitute. A woman has a dream of having a loving & caring husband, lovable family, obedient children, and a good career & last but not the least of course education. But the world of prostitution doesn’t even give a chance to think of them & do something of their own sweet will.
