Monstrous Side of a Man

We read newspapers almost every day, and confront some of the other rape cases and incidents as well. But can anyone tell me that how long we think over it, or how seriously we feel the pain of that woman who was being raped? I guess the answer is NO. Because half of the newspaper readers are interested in political news, some are there for sports news and entertain news. But hardly people pay attention to these sad news. Personally speaking, when I read the rape cases in newspapers, I feel terribly sorry for those who faced this situation and feel the pain of being born as woman.

In Indian society, people say that women are the blissful creature on earth who is blessed with the power supremacy of bringing a life on this earth. Basically, what we teach to those young ones? Do we talk about their career growth, education, priorities in life; or we just let them also read these horrendous rape cases in the newspapers every day.

Today, again I read about the pathetic incident of Aruna Shanbaug, a Mumbaikar nurse who was brutally raped in the year 1973. Since, that time she is lying in the bed like a vegetative piece of bones & flesh. She was a nurse in a government run hospital, and on 27th November a contract sweeper man named Sohanlal B. Walmiki raped her while she was finishing her duty. He tied her throat with an iron chain, and that chocked her throat and directly stopped the supply of oxygen towards her brain. Along with this her brain stem and cervical chord became useless since that day.

As she is lying in the death bed for the last almost 42 years (which makes her world's oldest comatose patient) given birth to many serious questions. The man who raped her is now living somewhat an idyllic life. He was punished for just 7 years for assaulting Aruna and trying to rob her. If he was trying to rob her and assaulted her, then why he oppressed her like this. What kind of happiness he achieved after raping her? She lived a painful life lying in the bed for almost 42 years and lost her family members as well. Now before her death she wished for her final rights to be done by any of her acquaintances who wants to claim her body. She lost her family members as well in these 42 years. No one was there beside her when she breathed her last.

My simple question is for this society is where is the humankind? Are we born as human beings to rape women, and make their life miserable. What is the happiness rapists get by committing such heinous crimes? When this society will learn to behave like a civilized society? When these devil like men will understand the importance of women? When will they understand the balance of the society and responsibilities towards the human race? We women are not made to give birth to your (men) progeny by using your sperms. Never think that by donating your sperm to my womb, you are creating something great or contributing something huge to this society. If you cannot respect a woman, then please don't play with her. Try to make her feel special and give respect to her. Raping a woman, can be a rape on your mother and sister as well. You are also born out of your mother only. So please think like a real man and try to behave like a civilized one.

Follow your HEART...

We have so many wishes to fulfill in our life, like, need to study hard; need to get a job with decent salary; need to get married; need to have children; and many more. Sometimes, we dream all these wishes, sometimes or parents or society forces these wishes on us. Do we really listen to our heart that what our heart needs? I think a handful of people listen to their heart.

In this post of my blog, I would like to encourage everyone to listen to their. Under the pressure of people, family, acquaintances, friends and so on, we don't concentrate on our own wishes. Usually when people keep on shouting or forcing their wishes, expectations from us; we tend to avoid to ignore our heart's voice. Somewhat it fades away. Did we ever ask ourselves what is the thing right now we want to do? We might have asked ourselves, but failed to follow our heart because of the various pressures we suffer from our surroundings. We also forget that a small thing can also make ourselves happy.

It may happen that if we need a simple thing, let's say you need a new tee shirt to buy. Friends or parents may scold & you may avoid the entire plan of buying it. But on the contrary we can save money for the time being, and later on after few days, when we will have enough money we can easily buy that particular tee shirt. We might also have the idea of visiting the golden sand of Rajasthan; green undulated valleys of Kashmir; artistic mountainous scenic beauty of North-Eastern states; or the silver lined coastal beaches of South India. But because of some or the other issues, we tend to throw away these desires and follow those pressures what people or society put on us.

I'm not saying to pursue something which is humungous or expensive. Just listen to your heart and pursue the smallest things you wish for. Time will pass by on its own pace, and it won't come back again in your life. So whenever you are getting time, listen to your minutest wishes and take the initiative to fulfill it in your life. After all you have a little time to enjoy along with the risks and problematic issues in life. So follow them and do it now!!!

GURUS turning to MONSTERS

We seek education in order to to become a good human being. The very basic aim of being educated is to attain enlightenment. That's why since our childhood, our parents keep on pushing us to go to a good school, to be into the circle of knowledgeable teachers who can light up the talent in you and can nourish you to a well-behaved and well-nurtured person.

But now-a-days, we just open our daily newspapers and read the shameful news of rape. Few days back, the dean of academics of the very prestigious educational institution in India, named, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT) committed such heinous crime. He in fact, raped a woman who is working in the academics department for quite a long time. After few days of this atrocious incident, the woman came to the Police and lodged the complain against the man and eventually he was arrested by the local police.

But my first question is to all of my readers, that, why we seek education? Parents send us to schools and other educational institution to attain knowledge, not to learn the techniques to become a barber. With the help of education we learn how to behave in the society, how to live in a society, how to be a responsible citizen of the nation, how to do something good for the family and society. But I'm really sorry to say that now-a-days, the trend has changed a lot with the time. The dean pursued his B.Tech (chemical engineering) from University of Calcutta, later on pursued M.Tech and PhD in the same discipline from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-Kgp). Being an academician, his job is to encourage the students to learn something new, to help the students to explore the best things in them.

But here after reading this rape news in the newspaper, I should say that women are not at all safe in any of the field. Whatever the job they are doing, they are not safe. Those devilish eyes constantly keep following women. For these type of men, women are just a commodity to accomplish their brutal physical and sexual desires. They don't understand that how they are ruining and building a deep hatred for themselves. A woman cannot consider themselves to be the equal part of the society. those stupid sexists always pester them to consider women to be the object of physical intimacy.

My request is we should attain education and knowledge to become a responsible man, not a monster like this dean who will follow every woman with their nasty eyes. For these kind of rapists women don't have any standard in the society, they should be used to sexual satisfaction and should be thrown into the gutter, what we witnessed in the Delhi rape case and I'm sure in many other rape cases. Be a good man to pay respect to the women, because without these women there won't be any sign of happiness, reproduction, and affection. You can have sex with us, but it doesn't mean that you are making me weak. We are not the weaker sex, in fact you are the weaker sex who keep on adopting such low grade ways to fulfill their cruel and wretched feelings.

My decisions...

What we are? A person will answer that we are 'human beings'. But do we actually ask this question to ourself? I think lot many times we avoid this question. Though it sounds very simple question, but it has a deep meaning. We usually cannot bear the weight of this simple question. Half of the time, I came across this weird question from my old school friends, that why am I not getting married? When will get married? When will have my own kids? When will I start planning my future? All these questions are very important for them, but technically, its not very important for me.

I know that at the end, we are social beings, and we need a company throughout our life with whom we can share our every small issues of life. But this is not the only thing or aim of my life. I believe that I'm not made just for this. I have some more ingredients in me to create something very meaningful out of my life. My parents never considered me to be the weakest sex on earth as I'm a girl or they didn't think that my aim of life is to rear a family. They always encouraged me to bring happiness not only in  my life, but also in others' life who are very close to me. They enthusiastically pushed me to achieve something new and different.

My dad always says that, "You are not made for the simple work on earth. Those simple work can be done by other people. You have the hunger to create your own image and individuality. So don't look back and just pull up your socks to run with other competitors." It doesn't mean that he is pressurizing me to be a part of today's rat race, but he is telling me to set an example for the society. My mom also says that create your personality in such a manner that people will comply to your thoughts and will perceive the world in a different way. Be a leader where you can be the guiding force for others.

So the simple message I want to share with everyone is I want to live my life on my own conditions. I'm educated enough that I can mark a demarcation between right and wrong. I don't need any other person's kind suggestions of getting married and reproducing my future progeny. I'm here to be something that people can name me as an example. I also want to visit every tiny corner of the world to see their world, to feel their culture. I want to learn more in my life to educate more. I want to try some more new things where I can easily explore myself. For all these this life won't be enough I guess. But a good company off course can make the things smooth and pleasurable for me. So guys hope for the BEST, because the BEST is always yet to come!!!

Planning to buy gold this festive season! Go through it once

Jewelry is seen as a symbol of love or a token of affection. We all have, at one time, purchased a piece of jewelry. Yet have you ever thought that what attracts you towards jewelry. Is it the sparkle? Is there a thrill of adorning you or your loved one with a new piece? Does it bring you a feeling of status and wealth? Or, like most people, does buying jewelry spark an emotional connection? In India, gold has always been associated with security and for some Indians; it is the most valuable form of Investment. However due to inflation and gold prices settling higher each day, it seems, consumers are easy target to several malpractices like under karatage, buying cheap gold from un-authentic stores or undervaluation of the gold sold and unfair buy back policies.

Therefore, certain jewelry designers like Senco Gold propagates ethical practices not only by assuring the customer purity and selling policies, but also fair policies to the karigars who craft the jewelry. It is said that Indian cultures change every 100km and so do its people, rituals, language, food and everything in between and therefore, Senco Gold has wide range of collection right from Vivah, Gossip to Dyuti. However, before buying a piece of jewelry one should be well aware about the jewelers.

It is expected that the demand for this yellow metal will be high as the festive season is knocking the door. And if you are planning to buy gold today then below are certain tips which you should keep in mind before buying gold:

1- Check the background of your jeweler

2- Ask for hallmarked jewelry only with 100% buy back guarantee throughout India. Look for the Hallmark logo and purity.

3- Check for zero error in weighing scale.

4- Look for purity grade

5- Should check the year of making

6- Check for jewelers identification mark

7- Ask for bill the time you are purchasing gold from the jeweler.

From the Death Bed to Success

You must have read lot many stories in newspapers and must also have heard from people that due to an accident the entire life of a person got changed. That's absolutely true. Even I also faced the same on 18th April, 2013 when I had an accident. I was trying to manage my life and was struggling to achieve the things in my life what I was dreaming off from a long period of time. Due to that accident I lost the naturalness of my left elbow, had a severe dislocation and got 20 stitches on my head and 4 stitches on my left knee. I was lying down on the bed in a hospital and was thinking that what happened to me. Just few hours ago I was all right, enjoying my life and was in a single piece without any scratches. And suddenly just due to an accident I also faced temporary amnesia which was a rare case for me.

But I didn't loss hope. My audacity for hope was still existing in me because I knew that I have to recover as soon as possible and have to achieve those dreams what I was dreaming for myself and my parents' aspirations. To me my parents are the most expensive jewel I have. So at I decided that after my surgery of left elbow I will start preparing for my entrance exam. The entrance exam of M.Phil (media studies) was very important for me, as it was my dream, moreover I had the mission of doing media researches. That's why with my 20 stitches and a thick bandage on my head, plaster on my left hand and 4 stitches on y left knee which I didn't folded for about three weeks I started studying the books. Lot many times I confronted this mental dilemma that I won't be able to clear this entrance exam and I cannot go more.

But god knows what was the power inside me which helped me studying during those stiff moments which was full of tension and psychic turmoil inside me. I used to tell my parents that I'm fine but I wasn't inside me. Finally of 4th of May, 2013 my stitches of hand & head were removed. I was a little bit relaxed, but again a tremendous challenge of folding my left hand was standing and asking me to have a heated parley. I used to stand in front of the mirror and used to have the soliloquy that I have to regain my energy and natural vigor within few days. On 7th of June, 2013 I left for Bangalore with my dad for my entrance exam which was scheduled on 8th of June, 2013. The moment I reached the university campus I started feeling that I have to get into this campus through any means, but not applying something wrong. I reached my written exam area and then headed towards my interview panel.

It was for the first time that I didn't have palpitation during interview, otherwise every time I used to be tense and this time I was quite confident that whatever I have mentioned in my research proposal I'm very much sure about that. The moment I entered for the interview both the faculties were waiting for me with their various blows of research. I didn't panic and started replying to all the questions. After 15 minutes of interview I came out and returned to the hotel. 12th June, 2012 was the day of declaration of the entrance results. I was waiting patient-fully throughout the day with the expectation of a good news from the university. During the evening time it was finally declared that I have been selected for M.Phil (media studies) for the 2013-14 session. On the very next day I performed all the necessary rules needed to be performed.

I came back and then returned to Bangalore as my course was commencing on 24th June, 2013. That day I came to know that almost 70 students applied for this course and 16 were selected for the entrance test, among them only 4 students were selected for the course and I was among them. This is was really a big news for me. That day I understood that I was positive in my mind and was pretty much confident on my knowledge, that's why I got the admission in the university and others couldn't make it. I'm not taking proud on my performance but I understood that I had the passion and zeal to achieve this dream. So now I'm here pursuing my course and want to join PhD in India's one of the celebrated university just like the M.Phil course. And I'm sure that I'll achieve this very soon.

English Vinglish – A Movie To Learn About Women

English Vinglish – A Movie To Learn About Women
Sridevi, one of the popular actresses of Bollywood in the era of 1980s again came back in the film industry with her path-breaking performance in “English-Vinglish”. After 14 years of life spending without limelight, made her strong and helped her to come back with a sturdy script like this. This movie is all about attaining respect for a woman in her own house among her own family members. A laddu seller woman, who is devoting her entire life to her family, is getting rebuked by her family at every step and wants to create her own world and her own identity. In the mean time, she went to visit her sister’s daughter’s marriage ceremony in Manhattan, where she joined English learning classes with great enthusiasm.

It’s a saying that love can happen at any moment, and any age. Even love is never limited to any of the geographical boundaries. It can be brewed between people of different spheres of the world. An Indian woman can love a French man, whose language could be difficult for her to understand, but a feeling which is directly coming from the heart can be understood without knowing the language. Love never need word to express the feeling, even the eyes can also convey the emotions which can be decoded by the other heart.

I liked every point of the story, but one thing I didn’t understand that why at the end of the day, an Indian woman is bound to go back to her own family and accepting all the faults and follies of her family. Sridevi was having an insensitive man in her life and having a filthy daughter who enjoys insulting her mother at every step. Couldn’t she go to the French man who understood her profoundly? Is it not possible for a woman to go out of the cracked relationship to find out a perfect guy for her own? People do marry in order to spend life with a person who love each other and can take care of each other.

Marriage can join two unknown souls to spend quality time with each other in order to solve all the difficult queries of life together. In that case, is it a bad thing to make out the things with a man who can understand you in a better manner? Is it mandatory to be in a relationship with the man who never tried to understand his wife? If a man is consecutively insulting his wife, and wife is pinching by saying some true facts in front of the society and one fine morning that man wake up with all his intelligence and sensitivity and accepts his wife, then I must say that the husband is “worthless”. Women should really go out of the real world and should try out the new and best thins which can give her the life.

Success is the point in your life where you are satisfied and is feeling the real contentment. So everything should be experienced in a short span of life. After watching this movie I really think that every woman, especially the housewives should watch the movie. They should watch the movie by heart and should understand their own importance in the family and should go for their own dreams and aspirations in life. Life is very short so cease each and every moment of life and do the best things which can give you happiness and pleasure.
